DOYLE BEATS DORRINGTON, FIRST SOUND SUFFICES. LONDON, March 19. In a boxing contest in the Albert Hall, Jack Doyle knocked out the Midland heavyweight, Borrington, in the first round which lasted only 83 seconds including the count. Borrington opened with a rush, and surprised Doyle with a two-handed attack on his head, Doyle jumped in and free exchange stook place, until Doyle steadied Borrington with a terrific left hook. This was followed by a right to the jaw. Borrington fell face forward and was counted out.
