PIG SALES
BACONERS WANTED. (Special to "Northern Advocate. ) TAHPITM, This Day. There, was a yarding of nearly 550 pigs, in eluding 350 bac oners and porkers, at the pig sale yesterday, according to the report of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. Bacon pigs met with keen competition, a total clearance being effected. Stores and weaners were so keenly sought, but prices remained firm at rates ruling in other centres. Heavv baeoners made 63/ to 67/; medium, 55/ to 60/; .light baeoners and heavy porkers, 38/ to 52/; porkers, 28/ to 35/; unfinished porkers, 22/ to 25/; stores, 14/ to 18/; stfip ß ! 10/ to 12/; weaners, 5/ to 8/6; sows in pigs, 40/ to 65/. __
