Mr Henry Ford raised the wages of 90,000 production workers 10 per cent today, stating: “The best economy industry can practise is to raise wages.’’ He expressed the desire to get back to the minimum of six dollars a day scale, “as quickly as possible.” The present wages scale varies from 4 to SI dollars a day.
