NOTABLE GOLF ABSENTEES (Per Press Association.—Copyrleht.l WELLINGTON, This Day. According to Mr Sloan Morpeth, the former Auckland golfer, who arrived with his wife on a honeymoon trip from Sydney by the Monowai, it is very doubtful if a fully representative Australian team will fake part- in. the Kirk-Windeyer Cup contest at Easter at Auckland. Two notable absentees, he said, would be Fcrricr and Hatterslcy. Mr Morpeth is taking a holiday from golf, but he is carrying tennis racquets.
