BUSHMAN ARRESTED

ASSAULT CHARGE LAID. SERIOUS ALLEGATION. (Per tress Association.—^CpojTlght.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A brawl, wlrichwas described by-the police as of a rather serious nature, took place in Tinakori Road, on Saturday evening, when bottles and missiles were thrown at two constables. As a result, Donald John McKenzie, bushman, aged 43 years, was charged ■yesterday with assaulting Constable Cleverley, and Nelson MeKnight, who is now in hospital with a broken arm, was'charged with assaulting and resisting Cleverley, and also with drunkenness. They were remanded till next Monday.
