OFFERING AT TAUPIRI. (Special to "Northern Advocate.") AUCKLAND, This Day. At Taupiri yesterday the New Zealand Loan & Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., held its tri-weekly pig sale, and reports as follows: Fully the usual numbers of porkers and baconers were submitted, the former comprising the greater part of the yarding, while baconers, especially well-finished pigs, showed a decided increase in values. Values, were:— Heavy baconers, 56/- to 63/-; medium, 45/- to 52/6; light, 39/- to 44/-; heavy porkers, 33/- to 37/-; medium, 29/- to 32/-; light, 27/- to 29/-; large stores, 22/- to 25/-; medium, 19/- to 21/-; slips, 15/- to 18/-; large weaners, 12/- to 15/-; medium, 107- to 12/-; small, 8/- to 10/-; sows, with litters, 54/- to 61/-.
