I ART TREASURES DESTROYED. LONDON', February 4. “The Times” says thousands of pounds worth of antiques, works, of art and pictures from all parts of the world, including Raphael’s portrait of i himself, and Watts’ famous “Love and Death,” also his “Love and Life,” were burned when lire destroyed Hatton Hall, Merstham. This was the historic marble mansion of Sir Jeremiah Dolman, a member of the mustard firm, who was absent in France at the time of the outbreak.
