He is also charged with corruptly accepting £SOO aiid a bank guarantee of £IOOO from Harris, besides smaller amounts; also, as the confidential agent of the -Salvage Corps, with betraying information secretly collected, thereby effecting public mischief. The Attorney-Genera/, Sir Thomas Inskip, in a speech for the prosecution, recounted the allegation. Harris," who is now serving a 14- j year term for the insurance frauds, and now a shadow of his former self, was accompanied with a seat in the dock owing to illness. He recapitulated his evidence.
