ASSISTED EMIGRATION
EX-SETTLER’S W’ARNING, HEAVY LOSSES ASSERTED. (Received 0 a.m.) VANCOUVER, October 10. Air R. R. Crofter, now residing in Vancouver, issues a warning against proposed assisted emigration to Canada. He claims to have lost £4OOO in a £IO,OOO farm scheme in Australia. Hr says he grow produce, but could find no market for it, and nearly 4000 others failed in the same circumstances. The Governments of Britain, Australia and Victoria have repudiated responsibility for these losses, says Air Crofter.
