GREETINGS TO AUSTRALIA. ARRIVAL OF DELEGATE. (Received 9 a.m.) PERTH, October 17,

Among the passengers of the Orontos which arrived at Fremantle from Loudon today was the new Papa! delegate Archbishop Bernardino, who brought a special message of greeting from the (’’ope to Roman Catholics in Australia.

A large (gathering of school children, carrying appropriate banners; gathered at the ship’s side 1o welcome the Archbishop. In an interview, he said he would bo very happy in Australia, where there is full religious freedom. This seemed to be a privilege in the British Empire, where the relations between the various creeds were more cordial than elsewhere.
