DOUBLE SPEED RECORD
ON LAND AND WATER BRITISH OBJECTIONS (Received 0 a.m.) LONDON, September 20. A new Blue Bird car is being built for Sir Malcolm Campbell in a secret workshop in the Midlands. The wellknown racing driver hopes to travel at a speed of 2)00 miles an hour, either on Daytona Beach or a new track in Salt Lake City. At the same time the motor boat Miss England 111 is being built with 260 h.p. Rolls Boyce Schneider trophy engine.
It is proposed to make a dramatic bid for the double speed record on land and water.
