UNDER UNION RULES. - . HIKURANGI y. MANGAKAHIA. VENUE HAD TO BE CHANGED. Owing to the ( rain during the week, no games will be played at Dickson Park on Saturday, and the senior tussle between Hikurangi and Mangakahia, which promises to be a great battle, will now be played '. at Kensington Park. Speaking on behalf of the Hikurangi Club this morning, Mr J. Woods said it was regretted thai suck was the position,-but that every effort had been made to have the game played at. Hikurangi to enable the local people to see the senior champions in action. Mr Woods said the club had approached the Hikurangi Town Board for permission to use the Number 2 ground at Recreation Park, which will be vacant tomorrow. The Town Board replied that permission would be granted, but that owing to the fact that the park had previously been allotted to the Northland Rugby Football League, with a right to charge admission, arrangements would have to be made with the League for passes for the Rugby players. Mr Woods said the position thus was that the Rugby Union could not charge admission, and that the match had to be arranged elsewhere. The Hikurangi team will be: Rarity, Goodwin, Hamilton, Redwood, Walker, Laurie,;, Dickson, Halverson, Peters, Molnnes, Linnell, Saunders, Peacock, Kennedy.and Brydon. . •; '■ ,
