ALWAR DISTURBANCE
RIOTOUS VILLAGERS,
TROOPS INTERVENE,
(Received 9 a.m.) CALCUTTA, June ,6.. Imperial troops again were called, out to quell a riot in the State of Alwar. It occurred in the village 'Of ' Salapur, 11 miles from Rewar. Four people were killed and 12 wounded in a clash between Ahirs and Meo .. ants. • ’ ■ • Trouble followed a scries of thefts of camels and cattle. The troops open-, ed fire on the combatants. Now all is quiet once more.
