KIDNAPPING OUTRAGE
YOUTH HELD TO RANSOM

Geromo Factor, aged 17,'son of John (“Jake the Barber”) Factor, is being held for 100,000 dollars ransom, so the police revealed this evening. The ‘eider Factor is awaiting the outcome of h’is appeal to the ' United States Supreme Court against an order extraditing him to England on charges of swindling British investors of £1,600,000. The police report that the young Factor was kidnapped on Wednesday night as he was about to enter his home, whore he was living with his mother, who was divorced from the father several years ago. Factor senior received a note demanding a ransom of 50,000 dollars last night. A second note received later raised the amount to 100,000 .dollars. The police revealed that the first note contained a threat to send the youth home “in pieces” unless the demand was complied with.
