(Received 9 a.m.) VANCOUVER, December 17.

A message from Morrin, Alberta, states that a proposed ‘ ‘ wheat seeding” strike was supported when TOO r " farmers decided in favour of sowing no wheat in 1933. The decision was. made., at a meeting of the United Farmers. (Alberta district) Association, with farmers from Morrin, Munson, Rowley, Rumsey, and Big Valley areas attend-,! ing.

Several speakers stressed the seriousness of the position. Although favouring the strike, picketing, they said, ■would have to be resorted to, even to the extent of destroying crops of farmers opposing the strike. .. ...

A resolution was passed enthusiaa; tically, and it was decided to place the question before the annual meeting "of the United Farmers of Alberta oif .January 17 in Calgary.
