Further details of the three bags of registered mail missing from the liner Remneia, which arrived at Wellington from London on October 2, have been received from the British Dost, Office by the secretarj' of the Genera) Bos. Oflice, Wellington. It in established that BIS registered articles are missing, the great majority of which wore for the North Island. The majority of the articles were from England, and a. considerable number from Scotland. The offices of posting and the registered numbers borne by the articles ate known to the office. Particulars are not. recorded, however, of (lie addresses, and the department is unable to intimate to whom the various articles wore addressed.
