SANDERS CUP

NEW BOAT FOR WELLINGTON.

(Per Press Association. —Copvripju.) WELLINGTON, This Day

lii view of a Dunedin message yesterday that Otago favours the adoption of an ISft boat for future Sanders Cup contests, it is interesting to learn that plans and speeifieations for an ISft V-bottorned, square bilge boat are lung prepared at Wellington by a naval architeet for several yachtsmen, who have in view the annual intefprovincial contest. There is no intention that the proposed class should clash in any way with the Sanders Cup type of boats. It is believed that an 18-footer with a Gft beam could be built for £45, includihg sail.
