ENGLISH CLERGYMAN’S ACTION. (Received 9 a.m.) LONDON, April .14, After associating himself with public protests against Sunday boxing contests the Rev. .T. S. 'Perkins, of tho Zion Congregational Church, Hulme, as a common informer, has issued a writ against Win. Mihvard, manager of tho Manchester Stadium, and councillor L. B. Cox, master of ceremonies, in connection with recent bouts on Sunday. Mr Perkins is claiming £IOOO damages from Milward and £SOO from Cox. The action will be defended.
