Polish with a duster and. then a eleau pad of brown velvet.* | * * * [ Velvet must be ironed over the iron Iso as not to crush the pile. The best way is to get someone to hold a hot iron upwards while you draw the velvet backwards and forwards along the hot surface. Keep the velvet well stretched, and go over every piece carefully till the. pile stands up well. * * •* • Never poke a fire from the top.
