BLUNT’S INTENTIONS.

Rumours have recently been current that R. C. Blunt intends to leave Dunedin for Christchurch. At a reception last evening ho said that he knew nothing about the reports, and expressed the hope that he would be able to remain in Dunedin for some time to assist Otago cricket. Ho expressed the opinion that C. S. Dempster ranked with the best batsmen in England, if not in th© world.
