Hunt, S-M., a second-hand : dealer, < Deter (Arthur 0 ’Hagen, was charged with illegally purchasing goods from a person • under the age - of 16 years He/jdefad'ed' hot guilty. Evidence was given that, defendant purchased from a 13-years-old boy a set of-tnotof cycle tools, ;64 being paid. Tho. tools, whieh were later sold by defendant for 1/6, were.worth £1 8/, and had been stolen by- tke-boyr- - - The magistrate imposed a fihe of £1 and coats. ,
