TENDER ACCEPTED
MAUNGATAPERE HIGHWAY,
The Whangafci County Council yesterday accepted the tender of Gooseman and Company at a price of £3556 for the tar-scaling of portion of the Whangarol—Maungatapero Highway. About throe miles will bo sealed. Other tenders were: Isherwood and Bellam, £3869, Robert Panders arid Sons Ltd., £4345, E. W. Savage arid Co., £SOOO, and Wright, Stephenson, £3503. The latter was for a cold mixture and was not accepted, as hot mix was specified in the application for tenders.
