EXTRA RACING DATES.
BAY OF ISLANDS OBJECTION. I (Special to “Northern Advocate..”) AUCKLAND, This Day. For the coming season there are several applications from clubs in the Auckland district for extra days. The Takapuna Jockey Club is applying for October 10 and 12, Rotorua Racing Club for October 17 and 19, Avondale Jockey Club for January 16, Matamata Racing for February 8, Franklin Facing (jlub fox May 7, Bay of Plenty Jockey Club for May 14, Waikato Racing Club for May 21 and i 23 or June 11 and 13, and Ohinemuri Jockey Club for one day, the date of which has not been specified. In the case of the Avondale Jockey Club the date is objected to by the Bay of Islands Racing Club.
There is no recommendation by the Auckland District Committee in connection ■with any of applications. »
