The challengers will require to score 285 runs in their second innings, which will .be played today, in order to win. - Continuing the first innings, Manawatu, which had made 83 runs for 5 wickets at stumps on Saturday, only added a further 16 to the total. South Auckland, in its second innings, compiled 234 runs, of which Cassidy, the top scorer, contributed 83; Skeet (41), Hawke (18), Hampton (13), Winger (13) and Baddeley (11) were the best of the remainder.
