(Special to “Northern Ad vacate.”) AUCKLAND, This Day.

The quantity of kauri guru received into, fit-ore by the Auckland brokers last mouth was, with one exception, the smallest amount for September since 191(5. Owing to 'shipping difficulties after the War, the quantity in September 1018 was only 148 tons. The’ amount for September o£ this year was 214 tons, conupared with 323 tons for the corresponding period of last year. The quantity, however, was 20 toms in excess of that for August last, which was the lowest August amount since 1919.
