MOTORING ACCIDENTS
PINNED UNDER CAR.
MAN BADLY BRUISED.

The intermittent sounding •of a motor car horn, far below the level of the roadway on the south side of Alount Alesscngor, attracted the attention of a settler near by and led to the rescue of R. P. Coburn, a farmer of Aria, who was pinned beneath the car that crashed. Coburn, who was seriously injured, was taken immediately to the New Plymouth Hospital. His injuries consist of a bruised kidney and general severe bodily bruising. The circumstances surrounding the crash are unknown, as Coburn is too seriously injured to be able to give details. Great difficulty was experienced in carrying Coburn to the roadIway. The accident occurred at a bend notoriously difficult, where a fatality occurred a short while ago.
