ARBITRATION PROPOSAL
DEFEATED IN THE HOUSE
(From Our Parliamentary Special.) WELLINGTON, This Day.
The amendment proposed in the House of Representatives last Tuesday -advocating a. system of arbitration in framing the -wages and salaries of the Post and Telegraph employees, was again discussed today. The Hon. ,T. B, Donald promised to investigate the matter, and the amendment was defeated by HD votes lo 20.
