IDENTITY DOUBTED..

INQUIRY ADJOURNED. (Received 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, May 6,

The Central London Coroner adjourned an inquest in order that inquiries be made in connection with the death of a man, believed to be Eric Mollard, a New Zealander, who was found in a gas filled room at Holborn. Deceased had told a previous landlord that he was born in New Zealand and had worked in Australia.

VERDICT OF SUICIDE. (Per Press Association. —Copyright.) FONTON, This Day. At the inquest on Allan Harper, whose family was located in Wellington yesterday, the Coroner, Mr A. Fraser, returned a verdict that deceased committed suicide by gas poisoning. It was stated in evidence that death probably occurred throe days before discovery of tho body. A witness said that deceased borrowed a. wrench last Wednesday, giving the reason that he wished to move the tap of a water tank.
