ANGLO-AFGHAN PACT
REAFFIRMATION AGREEMENT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 1 p.m.) RUGBY, May 6. It is officially stated that on the accession to the Afghan throne of King Muhammed Nadir Shah, both the Afghan Government, and the British Government desired to reaffirm the validity of the Anglo-Afghan treaty, concluded at Kabul on November 22, 1921. A formal agreement reaffirming the treaty has now been reached, and the British Minister to Afghanistan, who had already arrived in India, is leaving for Kabul forthwith.
