At the resumed inquest on Mr and Mrs Cook, who were killed by a motor car fatality in the Ngahauranga Gorge, A. E. Storey, driver of the car which was in collision with Cook’s, said that!. Cook was on his right side and witness was in the centre of the road. The impact was not severe and ho stopped immediately. He had been driving for 18 years. Witness then said it was possible that all his wheels Vere on the righthand side of the white centre line before he swung over to the left. Counsel asked him if he did not attempt to pass one or more cars on his wrong .side at a dangerous bend, when lie could only see ten, yards ahead. Witness said he could see much more than ten yards and kept close in to the car on his left. At this stage the proceedings were adjourned.
