QUEENSLAND FLOODS
GENERAL SUBSIDENCE. (Received 31.40 am.) BRISBANE, This Day. The flood waters are now recoding, The bridge over Mie Bnrdekin River should be clear shortly, and trains are expected to cross today. The Herbert River Is now five feet under the bridge. Damage estimated at £IO,OOO was done to two 'bridges in the Mackay district, the floods completely wrecking them. Gharleville is still isolated by water.
