Miss Bauman, of the Hora Hora School staff, has relinquished her, position and will take up a new .appointment at the beginning of next term.
Senior-Sergeant Edwards, who has been relieving at Whangardi for the past six -weeks, returned to Wellington today. Senior-,Sergeant O’Grady will take charge again next week. At the.annual meeting of the Whangarei Chamber of Commerce last night, a vote of appreciation was accorded Mr H. W. Briggs, who, it was said, had 'been a most efficient honorary auditor to the chamber for a number of years. He was re-elected to the position.
