DISTRICT COURTS

EFFORT FOR REVIVAL. EXHIBITION AT WINTER SHOW. Strong efforts are to be made during the coming months to re-establish the District Court system of competition at the Whapgarei Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Winter Show, which will be held from May 11 to 17 inclusive, 1930

At a meeting of the executive of the A, and P. Society last evening this course was decided upon and various aspects of the . matter were discussed. It was decided to donate £lO to each of the sub-committees responsible for the courts, if the competition can be revived, to aid in the building of worthy displays. At the Auckland Winter Exhibition next year a Whangarei ccourt will be established, and it is hoped that the district courts at , the Winter vShow will be the means of obtaining a supply of suitable exhibits to be forwarded to Auckland. Some wool for the Whangarei Court in Auckland has already como to hand.
