FACTORY DESTROYED
. OLD WOODEN BUILDING. (Per Press Association. —Copyright.) ■CHRISTCHURCH, December 10. Fine in the boot stois and repairing factory of Messrs C. D. Gough and Sons, Colombo Street, Sydenham, early this morning, caused damage estimated at between £IOOO and £3OOO, including the'loss of plant. It -was an old wooden building, the total insurance being £2500. Brick walls on the , adjoining houses saved them, though the oewupants had to evacuate owing to the heat.
