PESEK WINS EASILY

Many people were unable to gain admission last evening to withess the wrestling contest between John Pesek, who claims the championship of the world, and George Walker, heavyweight champion of Canada. The 200 ringside seats on the stage were occupied. The bout lasted until the sixth round. At the end of the fifth round, Pesek threw his opponent with a back-loop slam, easily gaining first fall. Walker came groggiiy from his corner at the Opening of the sixth round, but Pesek very generously refrained from finishing the man straight away. After a little sparring, Pesek secured a double-arm scissors, which gave him the second fall and the Thatch,
