j On Wednesday evening, November d, lat Holy Trinity Church, Dargaville, the wedding took place of Miss Enid Mabel Bernard, only daughter of Mr and Mrs C. E. Bernard, of Dargaville, to Mr Jack Kenyon Atkinson, son of Mr and the late Mrs J. S. Atkinson, of Avondale. Tiie Rev. J. C. Fusscll officiated. The church had been beautifully decorated for the occasion by Mrs W. Hi! Ham. The service was fully choral, I Mrs B. S. Angus presiding at the or gan. I The bride, who was given away by I her father, was charmingly frocked in j a sleeveless model of ivory satin, with uneven hemline, and early Victorian bodice. From beneath a coronet, of orange blossoms and silver tissue fell a. beautiful veil of tulle embroidered in silver and arranged to form a cap. The bouquet was composed of roses and carnations. The Misses Alma Tonkin and Ena Finlayson, who acted as bridesmaids, wore dresses of eau de nil and primrose georgette, respectively. Both I frocks Avere relieved with silver lace and featured the uneven hemline. Ha’s en suite were also worn, bouquets to tone being carried. Little Miss Lois Hilliam was prettily attired as a floAver girl. ( Messrs H. Wilkinson, of Te Kuiti, i and Alan Bird, of Dargaville, acted as ( best man and groomsman, rcspectiA’oly. ; Mrs Bernard, mother of the bride, received a very large number of guests at the Municipal Hall.
