GISBORNE, This Day. “This young man called at the Police Station last night and stated that ho wished to give himself up,” j stated Sergeant Wade, when Arthur J Willoughby Brassey, aged 22, appeared j at the Police Court this morning | charged with the misappropriation of | moneys from the Waiapu Pastoral and Industrial Association, of which he ■was secretary. “Accused,” said the “stated the discrepancy was £l7O. The police have not had time to investigate the matter.” A remand for eight days was granted.
