The Marine Court’s decision was promulgated today in connection with the steamer Hypatia, which grounded at the entrance to Table Bay on October 20 and became a total wreck.

The captain was found guilty of a serious error of judgment, the first officer guilty of culpable negligence, and the third officer guilty of contributory negligence.
