The Graf Zeppelin made her second westward tra us-Atlantic commercial crossing of approximately 5331 miles in 0.1 hoars 23 minutes,. against 111 l\pnrs 40 minutes for the first trip of 6275 miles.
The dirigible landed at. Lakehurst, New Jersey, with 19 passengers and one unnamed stowaway, a crew of 40 and a cargo of merchandise and mails.
Immigration And Cnsfobis inspectors first boarded the ship, after which the passengers descended quietly before thousands of cheering spectators.
'Dr. Eckcner appeared pleased / with the easy landing at 9.58 p.m. and talked spiritedly with the officials. The Graf Zeppelin will remain at the hangar until Wednesday, when she will begin a world circuit flight frpm Lakehurst to FrSedriehshafen, Tokio, Los Afigeles and Lakehurst, the fare being fixed , at 9000 dollars per head.
During the present ' visit .. Dr. Eckener will, consider plans for a world circuit cruise in 1930, when the ship will visit ;th6 North. Pole.
