PUBLICAN'S LICENSE. GRANTED. After a. very lengthy hearing, the Marsden Licensing Committee granted the application of.. Waiter Henry Cuthbert for the issue of a publican's license in respect of premises situate at the Kamo Springsy near Whangarei. In -announcing the decision, the chairman of the committee, Mr G. N. MorriSj S.M., stated that the committee was satisfied that it had power to grant the license, but, on the question as to the necessity of granting it, there was one dissentient, Mr C. R. Lovatt.
