OX ELLERSLIE TRACKS. THIS MORNING'S WORK. (Special to ‘ ‘ Northern Advocate. ”) - AUCKLAND, This Day. Beautiful weather prevailed at Ellerslie this morning for training work and with the arrival of horses from the South proceedings are becoming interesting. The No. 1 grass track was open for fast work, while the hurdles were erected on the outside of the course proper. The going was fair. NO. 1 GRASS. Catfoma and a Luc u Ibis filly in W, Gall’s stable strode along over three furlongs in 4(1 2-ssocs. Golden Wedding, Kawainga and Tlmrsby ran seven furlongs In 1.115 2-5 and finished as named. Hyde Bark was given a run over a round, taking 2.4 11-5, the last six furlongs occupying 1.21. , Vallar ran the last half mile of his work in 58see. The Lover and Corinax completed a mile in 1.57 2-5. They were on terms at the finish.- Cornax worked much better than for some time past. A T TER BREAKFAST. Hager Rose was sent over a circuit in 2.2 .‘!-5. Te Money and Dark Prince ran six furlongs in 1.24 2-5. Theodilite encompassed half a mile in 5:5 2-ssecs.
