RIFLE SHOOTING
WHANG ARE I CHAMPIONSHIP. The twelfth shoot in 'the Whangarci Rifle Chib's championship was held at the Otaika Range over the week-end. Heavy rain spoiled marksmanship at the 300 yards distance, although C. White, the youngest shot, put on the creditable total of 47. With only one preliminary shoot before the final the championship is in a very interesting position, the first five being within 10 points of each other. Results of the last shoot are: — 200 300 Hep.
