MOTOR CYCLE RACES
AT KENSINGTON PARK.
RECORD BREAKERS MEET.
The creation of two world’s grass track records and three New Zealand records, distinguished the motor cycle races held on the Takapuna racecourse on Saturday. , P. Coleman, the dashing rider who never fails to maintain sensational speeds, added greatly to his laurels. Ranby’s performance in winning the Middleweight, Championship was excep, tionall, and C. Goodwin’s lightweight machine not only ran second in the championship for larger types, but also broke the record times for the class. Goodwin’s figures for the flying mile are likely to stand for some time. Following are the figures for the various records, old and new:— FLYING MILE RECORDS. 1000 c.c.—P. Cowman (7b,p.
