DAMAGE IN QUEENSLAND.

It is feared that the floods in the north have claimed one victim, a youth named Fainweather, who left Abercorn three days ago to take food to; his father, who was working in the bush. He has not been seen and it is feared he has been drowned.

At Bunderberg, the Water is covering the wharves to a depth of nine feet and has entered many dwellings. Bridges have been submerged at Proserpine, where an exceptionally severe flood is feared. The weather Bureau has issued , a warning that a cyclone is developing between Cardwell, Willis Island and Bowen.
