(From Our Own Correspondent.) LAWN 'TENNIS. The leading members of the Kaikohe Tennis Club visited Kawakawa and indulged in a friendly with the Kawakawa Club. The visitors were successful in winning by 13 to 7. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent both on and off the courts. Following are the results, with the Kaikohe players first mentioned: — Men’s Singles.—Smith beat R. McRae 9—G; Patience bcat C. Ludbrook, 1) —4; Hurley lost to E. Blundell, 3 —G: Rybiirn boat Newton, 9 —6, Men’s Doubles. —Rybiirn and Hurley boat Blundell and Raynor, 9—3; Bean and McLean beat Miller and Fraser, 9—5; Berry and Wright beat Skudder and Bain, 9 —5. Ladies’ Doubles. —Mrs A. J, Edwards and Miss Pausina lost to Miss Foster and Mrs McKenzie, 4 —7; Mrs Patience and Mrs Alcoek lost to Airs Cleary and Airs E. Blundell, • 5 — 7; Mrs Heslop and Aliss Purdy beat Miss Cleary and Mrs Rayuer, 7 —4; Mrs Kingston and Aliss Routley lost to Mrs Skudder and Aliss Alander, I—7. Combined Doubles. —Smith and Airs Edwards lost to Mcßae and Miss Foster, 4 — 7; Ryburn and Mrs Patience beat Blundell and.
