AMUNDSEN
NORWAY PAYS HOMAGE.

. Homage was paid to Amundsen’s memory on the seventeenth Anniversary of his discovery of the South Pole. All traffic was stepped for two minutes at Oslo and Copenhagen, The King and Crown Prince and Amundsen’s family were among the gathering at Oslo, while at Copenhagen a gathering was addressed by the Crown Prince, who declared: “The Northern Light is writing Amundsen’s name in flames on the horizon.’’
