NOTORIOUS MRS MEYRICK
ARRESTED AGAIN.

In the early hours of the morning, Mrs Meyriek, who is already on bail in connection with the Goddard case, was arrested at the Porty-Three Club and accused at Bow Street of selling unlicensed. : liquor. The club where she was arrested was raided in June, and the premises disqualified for five years. She was;xemanded. EVIL HAUNTS ABOLISHED. BEYOND RESURRECTION. (Australian Press Association.)' The night club war, together with the revelations in the Goddard-Mey-rick case, have resulted in a wholesale scamper of foreign “night club kings ’ ’ to the Continent. Six prominent men, whose names are well known to Australian visitors, departed In a few days.
Only ane club was selling after hours in London on Saturday, and girl dancing partners have been told that they need not attend, as there will be no customers.
The police estimate that the clubs arc killed beyond resurrection.
