FRIVOLITY MINSTRELS
"GET A MOVE ON."
In addition to the' really excellent chorus work of tlie Frivolity Minstrels in "Get a Alove On," some of the numbers are worthy of special mention. Mr George Wilding, who is the possessor of a sweet baritone voice of 'Surprising timbre, sings the solo part to three full concert numbers, and also will be found pleasing in a southern serio-comic solo. "Dusty" Rhodes, from the corner, will tell the world of the manner • in which he loves his "Orange Blossom," introducing a Darkie Breakdown at the conclusion of his convulsion. One of the most melodious movements of the-entertainment will be .a specialty duct ; by Messrs "Choppy" 'Chissell and Em, Dennis, which is sure to lie received with strong applause. "Swanko," the world’s worst wizard, will paralyse the public with patter, while performing •some remarkable feats of conjuring. He is probably the only sleight of hand artist in the world able to "do his stuff" wearing a pair of gloves.
The “Four Mule Skinners’’ will undertake to bring the house clown—a brick at a time—with their little effort in harness—that is proveting the* audience can hear them for laughter. This is one of the really few occasions \dhen the theatre-going public can have the dual satisfaction of hearing a ifirst-elass show, together with the knowledge that they are assisting one of the finest movements istairted for a long time 1 —'the installation of a. wire-' less set at the Whangarei Public Hospital, ■which is the object towards which the Frivolity Minstrels are working, 230
