SPECIAL REPORT BROUGHT DOWN ADOPTED BY SYNOD. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) HAMILTON, This Day. In reference to the unrest in the Waikato Diocese, the Synod adopted the,Special Committee’s report declaring that there was widespread uneasiness regarding the actions and policy of the Bishop and asuring the Bishop of the whole-hearted support of the Synod, The report also stated that in future it was desirable that the Bishop should be guided by a Standing Committee. The report was quite open, candid and fearless in its advice to the Bishop, not in the spirit of opposition, but in the best interests both of the bishop and diocese.
