ALL BLACKS’ TOUR
DATE OF DEPARTURE
UNION'S QUANDARY,
AVELLINGTON, This Day,
The New Zealand Rugby Union is faced with the prospect of dispatching the All Black team for South Africa on Friday, April 13, and is not very pleased with it.
AVhile the members of the controlling body of Rugby in this country are not superstituous, they feel that they do not desire to place the team which is to uphold New Zealand’s name abroad under any possible handicap. The result is that the alternative date of April 20 has been suggested. April 20 is also a Friday, but it is not the 13th! —Press Assn.
